Story
ATLANTIC is a faithful reproduction of the legendary Atlantic, originally commissioned by New York Yacht Club member Wilson Marshall and launched in 1903. Dutch yachtsman Ed Kastelein, renowned for his ownership, restoration, and recreation of iconic yachts like Thendara, Aile Blanche, and Eleonora, embarked on his ultimate venture: recreating the 3-mast schooner Atlantic.
This undertaking marked Kastelein’s most ambitious endeavor. Stretching an impressive 185 feet (56 meters) in length over the deck, ATLANTIC is proudly recognized as the largest classic racing schooner ever meticulously recreated. Kastelein’s determination was unwavering: to authentically capture her historical significance, every original contour was meticulously honored. The sail plan precisely echoes the victorious 1905 Transatlantic Race, etching her perpetual prominence in yachting history. Above all, her stunning beauty reemerges, capturing attention wherever her voyages take her.
